How to Change Your Email in Brandy

Need to update the email associated with your Brandy account? Here’s how to do it quickly and securely from within the app.

Step 1: Open Your Profile Settings

There are two ways to access your profile:

  • Press Ctrl/Cmd + K, then scroll to Profile and click it.
  • Click your profile icon at the top right of the screen and select Settings.

Step 2: Update Your Email

  • In the Settings panel, scroll to the Change Email section.
  • Enter your new email address in the provided field.
  • Click Update Email.

Step 3: Confirm the Change

  • A confirmation popup will appear, notifying you that your email will also be updated on Stripe
  • Click Confirm to proceed.
  • After confirmation, you will be automatically logged out and will need to log in again using your new email address.

Note on Errors

If the new email you entered is already associated with another Brandy account, an error message will appear, and the change won’t go through. Make sure the email you enter is unique.
